Where are you located and do you have a storefront?         Second Daughter is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania inside of the historic BOK building in space 403. Follow your nose!

  How can I order?  Do you accept advanced ordering?

•  Orders can be placed directly on our shop page. If you would prefer to place an order over the phone, give us at call.  Reach us at 215-350-2207.

• We encourage advance ordering! This guarantees that your order is on our list.   

•   We accept pre-orders Wednesday - Sunday.    Same day ordering is available  on said days by 8am.  Please visit our Same day ordering page for a full list. 

• Our pick up hours are  9am -3pm.  See our pick up info page.

 Do you ship pastries and small goods? If so, what items?

•  ​We ship! We offer FedEx round and two-day shipping.  We are currently shipping non-perishable goods like brownies, cookies, and our brownie pie. 

•   East coast orders typically arrive within one  to two days. Orders placed for shipping further away should arrive within three days. 

  Do you create custom cakes?

•  We love custom cake! This gives us a chance to collaborate with you to bring your idea to life.  We prefer to create unique designs and not recreate other artist work. We kindly ask for a weeks notice for minimal  designs and three weeks for more intricate designs. 

•      Their style could be described as whimsical,  abstract and minimalistic. art,  botanicals and architecture are the major influences on their work.  Creating texture and movement through florals, buttercream and shapes. 

 What is  Second Daughter known for?

 Second Daughter is best know for brownies.  In 2021, we received  Philadelphia Magazine's award for "Best of Philly". Don't take their word for, try it. 

   We make an assortment of pastries and smalls goods made from scratch using the best quality ingredients.
 We pridefully source our produce, dairy, eggs, cheese and  flowers  from local farms and distributors.  We sourced from vendors who's values and sustainable growing practices align with our own.

 What farmers markets are you located at and how often?
 Also, what pastries can I expect to see?

We are currently participating in the Rittenhouse farmers market on Tuesdays and Dickinson Square on Sundays. 

You can expect to find an array of single items. We try to rotate through our menu to offer variety of seasonal  goods savory and sweet. Never fear, brownies and brown butter chocolate chip Jawns will always be there- until they sell out.  We do our best incorporate a new special bi weekly.
